1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using panafricafootball.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pan Africa Football ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

We may offer the Service in multiple languages, including English and French. Regardless of the language in which you access the Service, these English-language Terms govern your use.

2. Description of Service

Pan Africa Football is a digital sports media platform providing comprehensive coverage of football across the African continent. Our Service includes:

• News reporting and editorial coverage of African football at the continental, regional, and national levels.
• In-depth analysis, tactical breakdowns, and opinion pieces from our editorial team.
• Scouting reports on emerging talent across Africa's five football regions.
• Live match data, scores, standings, and tournament brackets.

The Service is available in English and French. Content availability may vary by language. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create a user account. By creating an account, you represent and agree that:

• You are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Service.
• You will provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You will maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You will maintain only one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or abuse promotions is prohibited.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or remain inactive for an extended period. We may also require you to verify your identity or email address.

4. Free and Premium Content

The Service offers both free and premium content tiers:

Free Tier

All visitors and registered users may access breaking news, match scores and live results, basic news articles, tournament standings, and selected editorial content at no charge. Free-tier content is supported by advertising.

Premium Tier ($7.99/month)

Premium subscribers receive access to the full range of content, including:

• Full-length articles, long-form features, and investigative pieces without content restrictions.
• Detailed scouting reports and talent profiles.
• Tactical analysis and data-driven editorial content.
• An ad-free browsing experience across the website.
• Access to Watch Live streaming links and broadcast guides.
• Priority access to new features and content series.

We reserve the right to change which content is classified as free or premium at any time. Content that was previously available for free may be moved behind the paywall, and vice versa, at our editorial discretion.

5. Subscription, Purchases, and Payment

The Service offers two paid options: a monthly Premium subscription and single-article unlocks. Both are processed by our payment provider, Wix Payments, and governed by the terms below. By subscribing or purchasing, you agree to:

• Monthly Premium ($7.99 / month): Begins on the date of purchase and renews automatically on the same calendar date each month until canceled.
• Single-article unlock ($2.99 per article): A one-time charge that grants permanent access to the specific article for the purchasing account. Single-article unlocks are not transferable to other articles or accounts.
• Auto-renewal (subscriptions only): Your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain premium access until then. Single-article unlocks remain valid indefinitely; there is no cancellation because the purchase is one-time.
• All sales are final — no refunds. Because of the low individual price points ($2.99 article / $7.99 month) and the immediate access to digital content provided at the moment of purchase, all payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, accidental purchases, unused subscription days, or content you decide not to read. You acknowledge that by completing payment you waive any statutory right of withdrawal where law permits such a waiver for digital content delivered immediately.
• Chargebacks: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us at panafricafootball@gmail.com may result in immediate and permanent termination of your account and all paid access. We will respond to all good-faith billing questions within 5 business days.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will notify you of any price increases at least 30 days in advance via email. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.
• Failed payments: If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend your premium access until the payment issue is resolved.
• Payment-data handling: Wix Payments processes all transactions in compliance with PCI-DSS. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details on what payment data we receive.

6. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, authors, or staff in comments, messages, or any other communication channel.
• Post hate speech or content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Spam or commercially solicit other users, including posting unsolicited advertisements, promotional material, or chain messages.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access, collect, or index content from the Service without our express written permission.
• Redistribute premium content by copying, reproducing, distributing, or making available any premium articles, scouting reports, or analysis to non-subscribers.
• Circumvent the paywall by using technical means to access premium content without a valid subscription, including sharing login credentials.
• Upload malicious content including viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Service.
• Violate applicable laws in your use of the Service, including copyright, privacy, and data protection laws.

Violations of these conduct rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including articles, photographs, images, graphics, videos, data visualizations, logos, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement thereof — is owned by Pan Africa Football or its content contributors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

• Articles and editorial content: You may share links to articles on social media or via personal communication. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute the full text of any article without our written permission.
• Match data: Match scores, statistics, and standings displayed on the Service are sourced from third-party data providers under license. You may reference individual scores for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not systematically copy or redistribute match data.
• Branding: The Pan Africa Football name, logo, and associated branding elements are trademarks. You may not use our trademarks without prior written authorization.
• Fair use: Brief quotations from our articles for the purpose of commentary, criticism, or news reporting may be permissible under fair use or fair dealing doctrines, provided proper attribution is given.

8. Comments and User Content

The Service may allow you to post comments, reactions, or other user-generated content ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you agree to the following:

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant Pan Africa Football a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with the operation of the Service.
• You represent that your User Content does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
• We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse to display any User Content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
• We are not responsible for User Content posted by other users. Views expressed in comments are those of the individual commenter and do not represent the views of Pan Africa Football.

9. Match Data and Scores

We provide match scores, live results, tournament brackets, standings, and player statistics for informational purposes. Regarding this data:

• We strive for accuracy and timeliness, but we cannot guarantee that match data will be error-free or updated in real time. Delays, inaccuracies, or omissions may occur.
• Match data is sourced from API-Football and other third-party data providers. We present this data under license and are not the original source.
• Do not use our match data for gambling, betting, or wagering purposes. Our data is intended for editorial and informational use only, and we make no representations about its suitability for any form of gambling.
• Historical match data and statistics are provided as-is and may not reflect subsequent corrections or revisions by governing bodies.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service contains links to third-party websites, services, and content, including:

• External broadcast partners and streaming services through our Watch Live feature.
• Social media profiles and sharing integrations.
• Sponsor and advertiser websites.
• Embedded video content from platforms such as YouTube.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party websites or services. Links to external sites do not constitute an endorsement of their content or operators. You access third-party services at your own risk and subject to those services' own terms and policies.

Watch Live links direct you to external broadcasters and streaming platforms. We do not host or control live broadcast streams, and availability may vary by region and broadcaster.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of match data, scores, or statistics.
• Any warranty regarding the accuracy of editorial content, player assessments, or scouting opinions.

Editorial opinions, analysis, and scouting assessments published on the Service are those of individual authors and contributors. They represent informed professional judgment but are inherently subjective and should not be relied upon as definitive evaluations.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PAN AFRICA FOOTBALL, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRIBUTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
• Damage resulting from reliance on match data, scores, or editorial content.
• Interruption of service or loss of access to content.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your account or data.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES TO PAN AFRICA FOOTBALL IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY SUBSCRIPTION FEES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our community guidelines.
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
• Extended account inactivity.
• Failure to pay subscription fees.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at panafricafootball@gmail.com or through your account settings.

Upon termination, your right to access premium content ceases immediately. Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved as follows:

• Good-faith negotiation: The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through informal, good-faith negotiation for a period of at least 30 days.
• Mediation: If negotiation fails, either party may initiate mediation with a mutually agreed-upon mediator.
• Legal proceedings: If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue legal remedies in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:

• We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
